“Whisper Box” can be used for words we can’t find, or just don’t want to speak out loud… a way to help anyone feeling overwhelmed or grieving. To keep notes to release later on in the month via burning or burying, or to glue into a journal to reflect on to find some perspective.
The flip side!
It can be a “manifest chest” for bringing in good things, for dreams & wishes, goals & good luck charms.
It will end up looking similar to this test one I did. But it’s using items you can get from around your home.
1) You’ll need a box of whatever size you like for the chest.
2) Paper towel, parchment paper, white glue, & a marker of some kind for writing on the paper towel before ripping it up.
3) A piece of clear plastic from your recycling bin for the window. A plastic salad box lid would work.
4) A box cutter for cutting the window hole.
5) A glue gun and glue sticks
6) Paint of whatever colours you like. (I use black because it’s my favourite for clearing energy), Then gold for highlighting the texture on the box so it looks aged.
7) Find your chosen image and print it out. Or use a photo.
8) Next is gluing the image down onto the plastic window, for this you can use just plain glue…. oooooor you can use Saran Wrap & an iron first to seal the image with some shine… and then glue it down.
9) Get some battery powered leds lights from the dollar store if you want your chest to light up like the one in this picture.
